Advocacy can includes many activities that a person or organization undertakes including media campaigns, public speaking, commissioning and publishing research or poll or the ‘filing of friend of the court briefs’. Lobbying (often by Lobby groups) is a form of advocacy where a direct approach is made to legislators on an issue which plays a significant role in modern politics. It is an essential component of all projects of Social and Human Protection Program.

Before stretegic and operational planning SHP management prefer to obtain the existing facts and figures about the potential field of work for an effective and results driven planning. Situtaion analysis and baseline studies are carried out at household or target pupulation lelve to acquire the data. Similalry, to explore the impact of the interventions mid term and final evaluations are also arranged internally and externally we well. Separate impact studies are also a component of the research with the trend analysis drawn from the progress reports.
