Capacity Building of Staff – Government of Punjab

Pakistan is basically agriculture based economy country; livestock sector is contributing overall 11.7% of the GDP. Pakistan is marked in first five countries that produce milk in the world. Livestock & Dairy Development Department (LDDD) caters to the requirements of livestock sector in the province. Livestock is increasingly becoming a very important sector of national economy, contributing even more than all the other agricultural crops combined. Livestock & Dairy Development Department strives to ensure growth and development of livestock sector in the province thus contributing to national food security, economic uplift, rural development, poverty alleviation, employment generation and foreign exchange earnings.

NRSP-SHPP has very strong liaison with LDDD Punjab for capacity building of their staff from Director Generals to support staff. NRSP-SHPP is designed and conducted more seven training events for LDDD Punjab from last six months.
